Everyone:
As you know, the Delta variant has picked up steam, and so we are as well.
We're adding in more pop-up clinics to our usual Fall flu clinics. In addition to community event pop-ups, Thursdays at 69th St. are back. We're also looking at re-opening the Chester site to vaccines on certain days and we've added a PA SIIS mission at Yeadon, so there's an increased need for both medical and non-medical volunteers.
Most of these missions are not yet on ReDI but should be by Tuesday at the latest. The decision was just recently made to ramp back up, and we're working as quickly as possible to get the information out to you. We wanted to give you a heads up so you know what's happening and can start to plan. In particular, Thursday and Saturday of this week and next will be busy ones for the CCDC! We hope we'll see you. Please check which programs you have "fanned" so you can see these missions! We also ask that if you still don't have an ID badge, send your photo to mrc@co.delaware.pa.us so we can take care of that.
Thank you for all you do to take of your community. You stood up in the past when you were needed and we know you'll be there again. Mr. Rogers said "look to the helpers". You are the helpers, and we're so very grateful for all you do.
