Dave Favinger, Media Borough Property Maintenance Inspector, was recognized by Borough Council for receiving the Fire Investigator of the Year Award from the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI).
Paul Robinson presented the recognition to Dave Favinger and his wife, Anne Marie, at the Borough Council meeting.
The Investigator of the Year Award is given to an individual who has shown outstanding achievement through the use of professional expertise in both the criminal and civil fields of arson control.
