RECOVERY DIRECTOR - PENNSYLVANIA

The Eastern PA Conference has an immediate need for a Disaster Recovery Director to assist with disaster response and recovery efforts across the Southeastern Philadelphia region. The director would work closely with the Director of Connectional Ministries, the Disaster Response Coordinator, and the Volunteers in Mission Coordinator to manage the design, implementation, and communication of the recovery plan.
The director would be called to partner with Southeastern VOADs and other disaster response efforts in Chester, Montgomery & Philadelphia counties most recently devastated by Hurricane Isaias and Hurricane Ida and identify resources for the development of the recovery program
The director would manage contracts with required vendors, develop and deploy training documentation and communication for volunteer teams, coordinate with case managers and construction managers as services are deployed, and work closely with the Case Manager and construction supervisor on the deployment of teams to the construction sites. A key role will be to assist with the recruitment, deployment, and coordination of volunteers
